Welcome to Week 5 of my pumpkin spice series. This final week I have chosen Pumpkin French Toast Sticks, Pumpkin Pie, andHarvest Quinoa Salad. For the breakfast dish, I made some pumpkin french toast sticks. I love some sweet french toast in the mornings. It’s an easy tasty breakfast and I’m excited to see how it is with pumpkin. I made pumpkin pie for dessert. I’ve made apple pie before, but I’ve never made pumpkin pie! We’ll see how it turns out. For the dinner dish, I chose a harvest quinoa salad. I love quinoa and butternut squash, so I’m excited to taste this one!
Happy hump day everyone! The weather is getting cooler (yay) and the days are getting shorter (boo). I wanted to share some of my favorites for fall fashion with y’all. I’ve linked the pieces below each image or similar items if they are not sold anymore. I hope you enjoy them!
There’s something special about fall that just makes me want to DIY everything in order to make the house as cozy as possible for the cool nights and upcoming winter.
I’m going to keep this post short, but I wanted to tell you about my latest project. A little over a month before Halloween, I started crocheting a fall throw blanket. I was making great progress with it until I decided to start this blog and take an online class. I dropped the ball the blanket, but both the blog and the class are totally worth it! Progress is happening on the blanket, just slower than before. Continue reading “Cozy Crochet Crafting”
Welcome to Week 4 of my pumpkin spice series. This week I have chosen Pumpkin Scones, Pumpkin Butter, and Pumpkin Chili. For the breakfast dish, I made some pumpkin scones. It’s supposed to be a copycat of the Starbucks pumpkin scone, so I’m assuming it’ll be great! I made pumpkin butter for the scones and other treats to add a dash of fall in everything. For the dinner dish, I chose a pumpkin chili. I love chili, so I’m curious as to how it will be paired with pumpkin!
Happy November! Rabbit rabbit rabbit. Have any of you ever heard this term before? It’s something my grandmother used to say and it has become tradition between my mom and her siblings and her and me too. Our goal is to be the first one to say it to someone else.
Holy moly friends. How is it already the end of October? I feel like I just started my countdown to Halloween yesterday and now it is already tomorrow. Time truly flies.
Well since it’s the end of a month, I would like to share some things that I have been loving this past month and some things I’m looking forward to in November.
Welcome to Week 3 of my pumpkin spice series. This week I have chosen Pumpkin Oatmeal Energy Bites, Pumpkin Pull Apart Loaf, and Creamy Pumpkin Soup. For the breakfast dish, I made some pumpkin oatmeal energy bites. I’m a big fan of the chocolate chip “cookie dough” energy bites that I have made many times, so I figured this would be a nice fall twist. I also made a pumpkin pull apart loaf for a midday pick me up. For the dinner dish, I chose a creamy pumpkin soup. I’ve been on a soup kick for the past couple of days, and the pictures of this one on Pinterest were delightful!
Have you figured out your Halloween costume yet? Do you need some easy last minute ideas? If so, you’ve come to the right place! If not, you get to enjoy me looking silly in lots of different costumes and get ideas for the future! I made most of these with clothes that I already owned or something that could be easily picked up at Goodwill or another resale store. I’ve compiled a list of 17 costume ideas that are super easy and will not break the bank! And guess what?! It’s just in time for Halloweekend!
One of my favorite things is decorating for the holidays. Halloween and Christmas are by far the best, but I sometimes struggle to find what I want for halloween decor. I’m big on themes, but I’m not sure if I can define my Halloween decorating style’s theme. The most popular Halloween themes would be cutesy, hokey, or even gory. For lack of a better term, the look that I love is hauntingly beautiful, eerie yet elegant.
I’ve rounded up my favorite ideas as well as ideas, some that I would like to try and some that I have and love. I’ll start with a tour of my current Halloween decor!
Without further ado… Continue reading “Decorations You Need and My Halloween Home Tour”

I love a good coffee cake in the morning. I also made pumpkin pie truffles for a tasty fall treats. For the dinner dish, I chose a pumpkin alfredo. Alfredo is one of my favorite pasta dishes, so I’m hoping that this lives up to its name!
