Cancun Recap

This is later than I wanted it to be again, but I’ve just had a rough week in terms of health.  I’m really hoping that I’m on the up and up finally, but I’m still trying to take it easy and recuperate.  Regardless, I wanted to share one last recap of Cancun and tips for if you’re planning a trip.

The first thing to consider in going to Cancun is the type of trip you would like to have.  I love adventure and activities.  If this sounds anything like you, staying at an all inclusive resort is the greatest thing ever.  It was so fun to have constant events, food, and drinks available to me.  For that reason, I highly recommend staying at the Hotel Riu Caribe.

My roommate on the other hand likes a more low key, quiet trip to soak up the sun.  For that reason, she would recommend staying at the Marriott.  She said it was like a dream because it was so relaxing.

As I mentioned with my post on excursions, I highly recommend going scuba diving.  Swimming while being able to breathe underwater was definitely a top ten moment of my life.   I think my childhood dreams of being a mermaid came true and I cannot wait to dive again.

I loved all of the shows and entertainment that our hotel provided.  Despite this, I think one of my favorite memories is sitting on the balcony looking out over the blue Caribbean Sea and doing my Bible study.  I see God so clearly in nature that I felt so at peace and close to Him there.

Do you have any plans to go to Cancun any time soon?  I would love to hear what your plans are or answer any questions you might have!  Hope you all have a wonderful day!
